Davao City, September 8, 2023 – The Regional Land Use Committee (RLUC) XI convened for its CY 2023 3^rd Quarter Meeting via Zoom presided by NEDA XI Dir. Maria Lourdes D. Lim, CESO II, Chairperson of the RLUC XI.

The RLUC XI discussed the Record of Discussion/ Agreements between NEDA XI, DHSUD XI, and DILG XI on the Harmonized Provision of Technical Assistance to Provincial LGUs re: Updating of Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plans (PDPFPs). In the provision of TA to PLGUs, NEDA XI and DHSUD XI shall take the lead in providing guidance on socioeconomic and land use & physical framework plan components of the PDPFPs, respectively. DILG XI shall aid the PLGUs in all EO 138- related matters (Full Devolution), particularly in the harmonization of the NGA Devolution Transition Plan (DTPs) to LGU DTPs; and in the monitoring of the compliance of PLGUs in the formulation or updating of their PDPFPs.

The Committee was oriented on the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH). This is a flagship program of the Marcos Administration to address the housing needs and backlog and to provide decent and affordable housing to Filipino families. In Region 11, there are five 4PH projects: (1) CMP Project People’s Ville HOA I, II and III in Davao City; (2) Langub Housing Project in Davao City; (3) Digos City Housing Project; (4) Nabunturan Housing Project; and (5) Proposed Housing Project at Ramon Antonio Village Phase 2 in Mati City, Davao Oriental.
